Description
This is another Kumiki style puzzle. Kumiki puzzles originated in Japan in the late 1800's and feature realistic items such as animals, boats, vehicles, etc...
This Dog is featured on the cover of Jerry Slocum's book "Puzzles Old and New"
It is larger than normally seen, measuring aout 7" tail to nose, 4.25" high, and 1.75" wide.
The first thing you have to figure out with any Kumiki style puzzle is how to take it apart. They always have a hidden key piece. Degree of difficulty on this one is moderate.
Come with clear instructions. There are some fragile pieces, inherent in the design, so we do not recommend it for under 10 yrs.
Level of Difficulty: Level 2
