Description
This is a fascinating new design by Donald Bell from UK. Not only do you have 18 puzzles to solve, but as a bonus Mr Bell has also provided a detailed look into the design process he went through to develop the puzzle. This rare view is something mathematicians as well as puzzle designers may find very interesting. You can see the extraordinary design process at this link including the powerpoint presentation made at Gathering for Gardner 13:
We have cut precision laser the pieces from 1/4" thick cast acrylic. This provides both strength and beauty. Colors may vary from photo. The 6x6" frame with cover is made from wood. The rectangular area occupied by the puzzle pieces is 4.5 x 3.5"
We a full page double sided that shows the shapes to be made on the front with the solutions on the back. Shapes to be made are all 12 shapes from Pentominoes and all 5 shapes from Tetrominoes. Each shape will require all eight acrylic pieces from the puzzle.
