Description
This is a puzzle designed with Escape Rooms in mind, but it would also be excellent for home or business use as it has broad appeal. The cherry pieces stay attached in the frame but will all rotate exposing various angular notches. The 1/4" thick maple insert bits also have angular notches. Your goal is to fit them into the center positions of the frame. Each bit is unique and could potentially be inserted in any position; however there is only 1 solution possible.
There are 2 models, the standard one of this listing that uses 2 insert bits and then the more difficult Also available on a separate listing is a Pixel Bit II model that uses 3 insert bits. The standard model is 11.5 x 7" . Pixel Bit II is 15" x 7". The base is made of floorboard material; scratch and water resistant with a great weight and feel.
There are beautiful to look at but also quite durable and should survive well even in the rugged Escape Room environment.
The rotating cherry pieces have numbers on each of the 4 corners. These are inserted so as to be able to easily communicate the solution on the written solution provided; however, they may also be useful to an escape room. Since there is only 1 possible solution, the orientation of these numbers could be used to convey a code or lock combination
Note that the standard pattern laser engraved on the bit pieces can be changed to match the theme of your room. That is, we could laser Pirates, or Egypt, or Old Western, etc... themes. There is a modest upcharge for the customization. ($4 per bit).
