Description
Snakes and ladders is a board game based upon an Indian game known as Moksha Patam. It's now known as an instant classic that has been enjoyed by many families around the world.
This travel-sized board game comes in at 5 1/2" square, and 1 1/2" tall. It comes with pegs and dice that can easily be stored within the box.
Objective: The objective is to be the first to reach the finish hole. You must land there on an exact count.
Basic Play: Highest role of the dice determines who goes first and then play passes clockwise as normal. Each player rolls the dice one time.
If a player lands on another player on an exact count, the player he landed on goes back to start.
If a player lands on a snakes mouth, he follows the snake down to the tail to reposition his playing piece.
If a player lands at the bottom of a ladder, he climbs the ladder and repositions his playing piece.
Winner is first person to land on the finish hole in an exact count. If you get close and throw a number that goes past the finish hole, you stay put and lose your turn.
Contains small pieces; not appropriate for small children under 4 years old.
