Introducing the Mayan Calendar Round - An accurate and working replica of the Mayan Calendar system.
The Mayan Calendar Round is a fascinating system used by the ancient Mayans to track time and organize their ceremonial and agricultural activities. It's comprised of two separate calendar cycles: the Tzolk'in and the Haab'.
Our version has a diameter of just over 7 inches and has 4 rotating wheels around a fixed center hub.
Each of the rotating rings in made from MDF wood with a nicely finished Cherry veneer. The fixed center hub is made from a Maple veneered MDF wood.
This is an excellent educational tool and way to show and explore the fascinating culure of the ancient Mayan civilization.
